The Holy Bolterby ~Olovni

Finally done. This is The Bolt Submachine gun, aka Boltgun aka Bolter. It fires 19mm RPG shells with a depleted deuterium core. The standard issue weapon of the Adeptus Astrates, and is considered to purify the heretics, the xenos, and the unclean, and protect humanity in the name of the Emperor.

In reality, this is a standard issue weapon for the Space Marine fraction of the Games Workshop wargame Warhammer 40k.
In more real reality, this is my first actual drawing of anything (except doodles), and i .. don't like it. The shadowing on th eemblem is.. way hard when you don't have a sharpener, and are using only a 2b pencil. Also, i don;t know how actually to shade a 3d object that small which is actually an engraving... damn i need practice.

On the plus side, i kinda figured out how to use an eraser to help me highlight metallic parts. Now the only thing left is to learn not to use it at all... and to use only lines for the purpose of shading.... Back to the drawing board

I have improved much since then, but i haven't had the time to draw anything private, since uni drawings take too much of my time.

But this summer... who knows, maybe i re-do it completley and properly
